Introduction
The Sky Bringup, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the 發票精靈 InvoiceGenie mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
Information We Collect
We are committed to collecting only the minimum information necessary to provide our service.
- Recognized Receipt Text: The App performs text recognition on your device. When you request AI categorization, the recognized text may include the invoice number, date, amount, merchant, line items, and other text printed on the receipt. This text is sent to our service and AI provider to create the result.
- Device and Session Data: A randomly generated device identifier, an anonymous session, IP address, user agent, request status, and limited technical diagnostics may be processed for service delivery, purchase entitlement, security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
- Usage Data: The App sends limited screen and funnel event names, such as opening a screen or starting an analysis, to our self-hosted analytics service. Receipt text is not included in these analytics events.
- Purchase Information: Apple handles payment. Product identifiers and App Store transaction or receipt data are sent to our service to verify purchases and restore access. We do not receive your payment-card details.
- Local Records: A receipt is added to the local ledger only after you confirm it. Confirmed ledger entries and reports remain on your device unless you edit or delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App.
Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Camera: Used to photograph a receipt for on-device text recognition. The receipt image is not uploaded to our servers or AI provider.
- Photo Library: Used to choose an existing receipt image for on-device text recognition. The selected image is not uploaded to our servers or AI provider.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the App's core functionality
- To create AI categorization from recognized receipt text when you request it
- To verify purchases and restore Premium access
- To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- To understand aggregate usage and diagnose failures
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- OpenRouter and the selected AI model provider: Process the recognized receipt text to generate categorization and insights. Receipt images are not sent. Provider handling is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
- Self-hosted Plausible Analytics: Processes limited event names and technical request information to measure aggregate App usage. Receipt text is not included in analytics events.
- Apple App Store: Handles all purchases and payment processing.
Data Retention
Receipt images remain on your device. Recognized receipt text is sent only when you request AI categorization and is processed to return the result; it is not added to the server as your ledger history. Our systems may retain limited account, entitlement, analytics, security, and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. AI providers may retain data under their own policies.
Data Security
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we process.
Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Your Rights
You can edit or delete confirmed ledger entries inside the App. You may contact us to request access to or deletion of server-side data that we can reasonably associate with your App session or purchase record. We may ask for limited information needed to locate and verify the request.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
